Salvia Big Blue Ipheion Here's a canna lily for(aka: Salvia PAS1246577) Salvia 'Big Blue' is a Ball Pan Am Seed introduction of a cross of Salvia longispicata x Salvia farinacea. Although the cross is the same that produced the 1979 introduction, Salvia 'Indigo Spires', this is a dramatic improvement, almost certainly a ploidy (doubled chromosome) shift.
