Constructed of silvered zink, the obverse consisting of an oval laurel leaf wreath, with a central raised Stahlhelm overlaid by a mobile swastika, on top of crossed swords on a pebbled field, the reverse with an integral hinge and vertical pinback meeting an integral catch, maker marked with LDO code L 21 for Frster & Barth, Pforzheim, measuring 36. 82 mm (w) x 44. 42 mm (h), weighing 22. 0 grams, a rare example of a
