Features fine early war bullion embroidered wreath with metal cockade with felt center and and early war bullion embroidered eagle insignia. The cap band and crown are piped in the cornflower blue color of the medical branch. The visor is topped with a silver chin cord indicating an officer rank. The cap was obviously worn in the field, as it has some light
