Original WWI Italian 1891 Brass Hilt Vetterli Carcano Ersatz Bayonet with Scabbard Resin Guns and Grenades Each box has G170 IOriginal Item: Only One Available. Well, we never had one of these before and saw this one at the Baltimore Gun Show in March 2014. This is very unusual and consequently quite rare. Produced during WW1 this took a standard M 1891 Carcano Rifle Bayonet blade and mounted it into an all brass hilt in the form of the earlier Vetterli Bayonet Hilt. The Bayonet measures 16. 25" in overall length. Ersatz bayonets are generally almost always associated with
