Assmann & Söhne consisting of a blue enamelled Romanian Cross with clusters of nine gilt rays in eac maker marked "AMICO" and marked(Flugzeugfhrerabzeichen). Constructed of aluminum, the obverse consisting of an oval laurel and oak leaf wreath, joined together at the bottom by ribbon, overlaid by a swooping Luftwaffe eagle clutching mobile swastika, the reverse with two visible rivets securing the obverse eagle in place, with a barrel hinge and vertical pinback meeting a round wire catch, the remnants of a logo of F. W. Assmann & Shne, Ldenscheid, are visible to the 11 oclock
