It is a bowl shaped vineyard that is ideal for ripening, although the eastern side is hidden from the morning sun. The wine has a nice combination of weight and minerality for the Cte de Beaune. Chewy red fruit, with a spiced cocoa and tobacco backbone. Pair it with a Raclette or Gouda cheeseburger.
